i love your thoughts on this subject. i've said the same things to female friends and i think 1/2 disagree and the other 1/2 are just shocked that i even care to have an opionion. it's even more amazing to think that when i talk to the same women away from a group. they are interactive and ask questions and want to have a conversation about it. funny, marketing is about communication. the most challenging for anyone is the marketing b/n XX and XY. thanks for not being scare to say what you really think on any subject.

I work at a manufacturer whose management is mostly male. The females that do make it that far act like there male counterparts. Thanks, Jory, for showing that women can make it on their talents. Having Pause in bold on my aggregator always alerts me a thought provoking reading.

Thanks for bringing attention to the subject of management styles. I have much anecdotal evidence about the "bulldozer" tactics used my male managers from my last 3 years being the only woman on my team of 15 men. Let me tell you, it doesn't work. At least not for me. I realized a long time ago that the management style here was not for me. I stay because I am good at what I do and I try to be my own buffer when my manager fails to prevent distractions. Some days it's hard. Way to bring attention to the concept of inherent management styles.
